Purchasing
By placing an order on this website (www.hither.com.au) you are making an offer to purchase items at the price indicated on the store pages of this site. Your offer to purchase is accepted when your credit card is charged and a confirmation email sent.
Order Cancellations
Cancellation by hither: hither reserves the right to cancel any order with a full refund to the purchaser if for any reason I cannot complete the order.
Cancellation by Purchaser: Should you wish to cancel an order after payment has been accepted, please contact hither via e-mail at info@hither.com.au within 24 hours. If you cancel the order after it has been shipped, freight charges will not be refunded. Cancellations after this time will be at the sole discretion of hither.
Shipping your order
Thank you for ordering from my online store! Most orders will be sent within 3 working days. If there is a delay for some reason I will do my best to keep you up to date and informed. If your article is urgent, please message me and we can work out whether there is an Express option available.
hither will deliver to most Australian addresses using Australia Post. If another shipping method is required, you will be advised via email. Parcels will require the delivery to be signed for by the Purchaser. Any risk will pass to the Purchaser and or any other person who signs for the receipt of the delivery. hither cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforseen circumstances such as natural disaster, strike or transport complications. The Purchaser is responsible for providing accurate delivery instructions and address details in writing. If the nominated courier is unable to deliver the Purchaser’s
order due to either incorrect information provided by the Purchaser or if there is no one to sign for and physically receive the parcel, a delivery fee may apply. This fee will be charged to the Purchaser’s credit card.
SHIPPING - WITHIN AUSTRALIA
Our shipping rates are:
Flat rate $2.00 AUD for Greeting Cards
Flat rate $10.00 AUD for jewellery or screen prints (this does not include Insurance) to all Australian addresses for all Standard orders.
All orders will include a tracking number, which will be advised once the item is shipped. If you require Express Post or a Courier service, please send a message so that I can obtain a quote for you.
Please allow 3 - 10 business days for delivery from dispatch. Your order will be delivered by the most appropriate service as nominated by hither during the business week. If the delivery address is unattended, the parcel may be left in a location deemed safe. If no such location can be found, re-delivery will be arranged. To ensure speedy delivery, we recommend providing a business address where possible or providing clear delivery instructions, in the ‘comments’ section, when ordering.
SHIPPING - INTERNATIONAL
I will be adding International delivery shortly. In the meantime, please email me and I can arrange a shipping quote for you. All prices quoted include GST (Australian Goods & Services Tax). All international orders will be exempt GST (10%). The prices listed do not include any overseas duties, customs or import charges which may apply. These costs will be the responsibility of the recipient. hither reserves the right to charge the purchaser's credit card for any duties not paid.
For orders within Australia if your order doesn't arrive within 10 days please check with your post office first. If your order is not at the post office send an email to Angelique at info@hither.com.au and I will work with you on resolving the delivery. For international orders, if tracking is available I will advise you of the Expected delivery date once the item is dispatched.
Returns
SCREEN PRINTS & ART PRINTS
Whether it is a hand-pulled screen print or a digital art print, I want you to enjoy it as much as I did creating it! Hopefully you are completely satisfied, however if there is a problem please contact me and I'll do my best to resolve it for you.
I do endeavor to clearly note the colours and sizes of each print available, in order to help you choose which artwork is right for you. Please note that as the Screen prints are hand-pulled with hand mixed ink, there may be subtle colour variations between prints. It is important to also note that colour representations on screen may also vary slightly due to computer image quality and screen settings. All prints are securely packaged, and rolled in a tube to ensure they reach you safely. However, accidents can happen, and sometimes pieces are damaged in transit. If that's the occurs, please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll arrange to replace any damaged prints as soon as possible.
JEWELLERY
For hygiene reasons, we cannot refund or replace jewellery for a change of mind. Refunds or replacements will be given if a jewellery item is faulty or different from how it was described or shown. You must contact hither within 10 working days of receiving your item, prior to the return of such items to register your return and reason for return. hither can be contacted at info@hither.com.au Please reference your original order number with any returns.

Privacy
hither recognises and respects the purchaser's privacy and treats any and all personal information as private. hither will not sell or pass your information on to any third party, this excludes the essential details required in order to deliver your purchase.
Materials used
The greeting cards are digitally printed on beautifully textured 100% post consumer recycled paper and come with a recycled envelope. My hand-pulled screen prints are on beautiful French made acid free Rives Paper, made of 100% cotton. Finally my jewellery is made from delicately etched Stainless Steel and finished with Sterling Silver findings. The pendants are backed with sustainably sourced FSC bamboo.
Caring for your Jewellery
Always treat your jewellery with kindness and attention. Avoid contact with household cleaning products, hairspray or perfumes.
Clean the stainless steel designs with a soft, damp cloth and the sterling silver hooks with a silver polishing cloth. Timber or Bamboo elements will maintain their colour and appearance as long as they are sealed properly and are kept dry. You can care for these items by applying some vegetable oil or pure beeswax with a soft cloth.
Mailing List
If you have joined the mailing list and wish to stop receibing emails at any time. Please just send an email title "STOP" and I will remove you from the database. You can rejoin at any time.
